The Who Sell Out documentary was filmed during 2020 and completed early 2021. Because of Covid restrictions the filming days with Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey kept being moved and we had pretty much shot all of our material before finally getting Pete and Roger ‘in the can’. In this section they explain how in order to make the album sound like a pirate radio station, they recorded commercials that would feature between the tracks.
